As is widely known, the Madras Medical College, is one of those premier institutions of medical science, which is a coveted asset in the minds of many aspirants. It is ranked fourth among medical colleges in India, and is the first in Tamil Nadu. Started way back in 1835, MMC has the pride of the first college to admit Indians and the first to produce an Indian lady doctor. Govt. General Hospital is the Asia’s largest hospital.
