GK Quiz

• 2 members per team
• 6 teams will be selected for the finals

Anthakshari

• 3 members per team
• 6 teams will be selected for finals

Painting

• 1 hour will be given for painting
• charts alone will be provided, other painting materials to be brought by the participants
• topics will be given on the spot

Hair Styling

• 2 members per team
• no materials will be provided, all styling materials to be brought by the participant
• 1 hour will be given.

Photography

• Topics will be given on the first day
• Photos have to be submitted either in the form of prints or in a CD format, neatly labelled with the name of the person and the college
• Results will be announced

Short Film Making

• Topics will be given on the first day
• Films should not exceed ten min
• CD or DVD should be submitted
• Results will be announced

Light Music

• minimum 5 to max 20 members per team
• Each team will be given a preparation time of 2 min and a performance time of 20 min

Dumb C

• 3 per team
• 6 teams will be selected for the finals

English Jam

• any number of participants from each college

Adzap

• Minimum 6 to max 10 per team
• No obscenity
• Topic will be given 10 min before
• Teams will be given 5 min to enact and 2 min for questioning

Rangoli

• 3 per team
• 1 hour time will be given
• Should bring own materials

Collage

• 2 per team
• 1 hour will be given
• Charts alone will be provided

Essay writing and English poetry

· Topics will be announced on the spot

· Time limit is 1 hour

Variety Variety

• max 20 per team
• 20 min per team
• Judging will be based on the number of varieties, entertainment value and audience quotient

Sports Quiz

• 2 per team
• 6 teams will be selected for the finals

Tight Corners

• 1 member
• Situation will be given 1 min before the event starts

Solo Singing

• 3 min for each participant
• You can bring own karaoke

Tamil Kavithai, katturai and Hi-Koo

· Topics will be announced on the spot

· Time limit is 1 hour

Fashion Parade

• max 20 per team
• teams should bring their own CD’s
• Judging Criteria – theme, creativity, variety, apparels, formations, attitude
• 20 min per team

Cine Quiz

• 3 per team
• 6 teams will be selected for the finals

Tamil Pattimandram

• Prelims will be conducted – 3 mins for each participant
• 8 candidates will be selected, 4 per team based on lots
• Topics will be announced for the selected candidates before one hour

Adaptune(Foot loose)

• Time limit is 3 mins

Soap Carving

· Should be done only on soaps provided by us

· Required instruments such as blade, knife, etc. should be brought by the participant

· Time limit is 1 hour

Face Painting

• 2 per team
• Required materials should be brought by the participant

Choreography

• Maximum 20 members per team
• Maximum 20 mins
• Teams should bring their own cds and have a backup cd & a pendrive
• Judging Criteria – Coordination, Costume, Choreography, Expression, Attitude

General Rules :

• Students should produce their ID card at the time of registration for all events
• All necessary items should be brought by the participants
• Decision of judges will be final
• Any change of rules will be announced during the event
• Organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel any event under circumstances
• On stage performance order will be decided by lots
• Inflammables and fireworks not allowed inside the college
